Salary of a logo designer should be increased, but that would be after their performance….

I’m in Germany and i’m also astonished too see how much my profession earns in the USA – but still i will NEVER go to live in the USA.

I think the salary of the designers are low due to bad competition in the market.

Agree that competition and location affects the prices and salaries of the designers. a highly experienced designer may be offered an entry level salary in a small town even. The best thing to do in that case is to go freelance.

Great post, very interesting, thanks. Pay is roughly about the same here in New Zealand. I agree with a few of the previous comments, that the salary is lower than what it should be due to bad competition, unskilled/unqualified designers selling cheap rubbish.
