- Wallpapers Full of Logos!

Logos appear everywhere whether we realize it or not and wallpaper designs are a powerful way to display them. People who enjoy specific products often display the logo of that product proudly on their desktop or laptop screen. They are even popular on ipods or other mp3 players that have the option for wallpaper displays. Its great for these companies since it is a form of free or low cost advertising. All they have to do is create a nice looking wallpaper and make it available online and it helps them build their brand through common recognition.
These are just a few that I found, but there are so many others available through a simple search. Apple and Windows have countless designs and there were just too many to add. It seems they were one of the few starters of this trend, but it certainly makes sense and is a great way to display a logo.

- Apple Has Fun with their Wallpaper Designs

It seems the geniuses over at Apple have quite a sense of humor and understand the demographic they appeal to. Their free wallpaper designs take on fantastic quality and also great comedic value. It’s a convenient way for them to market themselves and display their brand identity and all the while, the consumers enjoy the look.
Since Apple took on such a trendy persona for their company, it is considered “cool” to display the logo on your desktop, iphone, car bumper or anywhere you can add it. Microsoft has tried, but still doesn’t seem to have the ability to match Apple’s popularity. The masses seem to have spoken and Apple is what they want. No pressure there Apple geniuses, just keep producing high tech and fun devices and you are golden!

- Abstract Graphics: The Beautiful World of Design

Designing is such a general term, but it allows so much room for creativity and imagination. With the constant upgrading of technology that we are exposed to, our tools for creating work have become so innovative and useful that an idea can be limitless and designers can flourish. Abstraction is a fairly new concept in terms of art history in which we can create worlds and styles that are completely original. It is nothing that we see in the real world, therefore anything is possible and all is beautiful.
Adding a human form to an abstract work of art brings a little bit of reality to an unknown environment. I have seen many concepts with dancers floating through an unusual space, or swimmers surrounded by imaginative water splashes.
The visual concept of clarifying items closer to the eye works well in this piece. The blurred background shows us a glimpse of what is going on, but draws your focus to the center. It has a great, magical presence in which the design is emerging from the human hand.
Abstract designs are a great way for an artist to let out their imagination with complete freedom and they make for really beautiful pieces of work. It’s no wonder that modern designs use abstraction so often.
