<p>The LOVE sculpture is a <a href="http://www.logoblog.org/wordpress/radiation-symbol/">symbol</a> for peace that was created during the Vietnam war by Robert Indiana. The sculpture is best known at its home in Love Park, located in Philadelphia, Pa. The design can also be seen in multiple other locations, such as New York City and Scottsdale, AZ. Philadelphia is known as the city of brotherly love, but that loving concept is not how the park got it&#8217;s name. The name came from the popularity of the sculpture.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1675" title="Love Logo - Love Park Philadelphia" src="http://www.logoblog.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/love_park_fountain-204x300.jpg" alt="Love Logo - Love Park Philadelphia" width="204" height="300" /></p>
<p>LOVE Park sits in the heart of center city Philadelphia and was created in the 1960&#8242;s. The park, although simple, attracts groups of tourists and skateboarders everyday. With a flowing fountain in the center, which is surrounded by numerous curved staircases, its a great place to sit and read or just take in the city. It offers a great view of the Art museum and City Hall and is a celebrated venue for skateboarders for its natural, urban features.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1860" title="Love Sculpture in New York City" src="http://www.logoblog.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/800px-love_sculpture_ny-300x225.jpg" alt="Love Sculpture in New York City" width="300" height="225" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1861" title="Love Logo in Scottsdale, Az" src="http://www.logoblog.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/07/1599866627_44cda1e3b4-225x300.jpg" alt="Love Logo in Scottsdale, Az" width="225" height="300" /></p>
<p>Robert Indiana is known for his work among the pop culture movement. His messages are a symbol of <a href="http://www.logoblog.org/wordpress/creative-logos/">inspiration</a>, but also became a logo or trademark that we see recreated over and over.</p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1687" title="Love Logo Statue" src="http://www.logoblog.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/love_01-246x300.jpg" alt="Love Logo Statue" width="246" height="300" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1686" title="Love Logo Ring" src="http://www.logoblog.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/8a32_2.jpg" alt="Love Logo Ring" width="200" height="158" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-full wp-image-1688" title="Love Logo Tote Bag" src="http://www.logoblog.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/love1.jpg" alt="Love Logo Tote Bag" width="300" height="300" /></p>
<p><img class="aligncenter size-medium wp-image-1689" title="Love Logo Cake Topper" src="http://www.logoblog.org/wordpress/wp-content/uploads/2009/06/love_cake-300x300.jpg" alt="Love Logo Cake Topper" width="300" height="300" /></p>
<p>The LOVE design has been an inspiration to the production of multiple items. Although the design is simple, who could argue or reject such a great concept as love? Robert Indian has truly branded himself through his work and efforts.</p>
