With the summer upon us and vacation season off to a good start, it seems that traveling is on the minds of so many overworked people. When you think of traveling, the first thing that pops into your head is usually travel plans such as airline tickets, hotel bookings, and car rentals. All of these businesses are in the midst of their busy season, so their advertising should be spot on. Since a logo is the best way for a company to brand themselves, logos for the travel Industry must stand out and be recognizable.

These are probably the most known airline logos, which can be seen on the tail of the planes that proudly display them. Since vacations are something people usually cut out in a bad economy, airlines must promote themselves even more to make profits, especially this year. An airline’s best bet is to provide the best and make sure their logo is classy and ensures secure service and trust among travelers. What vacationer would trust their lives with an airline if the logo or reputation was bad?

The Internet has made so many things easier and one of them is hotel bookings. Companies like Travelocity, Hotels.com or Expedia will search all hotel listings and place them at your fingertips. They even allow you to sort through the results by price or location. It really makes traveling much easier, although there is a lot of competition among these companies. Which one is best? A better logo can offer a better first impression when the site pops up on the web. It is important for them to brand themselves among this growing conveniences.

Rental car companies generally have plain or basic logo styles, but as long as the name and service is recognizable, it works well to promote the company. A lot of them are local companies and not as known. Those smaller businesses must label what they are, although Hertz and Budget and known just by the name without the need to have the words “rentals” written within the logo.
Summer is one of the most enjoyable times of the year and a vacation is always a great and relaxing way to enjoy it. Happy Travels!
