- LogoBlog Poll 14 – A Logo that Translates Speed at the Maximum
-
Many logos encompass the element of speed in them to represent innovation, constant evolution, movement and rapid development in their respective areas. Last week’s LogoBlog poll focused on the logos that fully correspond to speed, in terms of the qualities mentioned above, or the ones which ‘translate speed at the maximum’.
With the availability of countless logos that symbolize speed, we narrowed down our choices to Superman Logo, Nike Logo, Jaguar Logo, FedEx Logo and Boeing Logo, each representing ‘speed’ to the full in their different categories.

As anticipated, Nike logo was the clear champion by gaining 48% of the total votes. Following down the line, Jaguar logo won the second place by receiving 22% votes, whereas Superman logo and Boeing logo each received 11% and FedEx received 7% of the votes.

The imperial brand image of Nike logo clearly reflects speed, innovation and technology, and has been stamped into the minds of people for a very long time. This makes Nike logo the apparent winner of last week’s LogoBlog Poll.
Congratulations Nike, for winning the LogoBlog poll.
Keep reading, Adios!

To me the formula one logo reflects speed much more so that the nike logo. I feel that nike almost has the unfair advantage in competitions simply do to their unparralled logo recognization.
I mean that people generally are more likely to vote for something they recognize and are comfortable with.
Nike’s logo does represent speed, just not to they same level that F1 Does. But next time maybe I should vote huh?

“innovation, constant evolution, movement and rapid development”
It is my opinion that the nike logo does something the other logos do not, and that is representing speed in just about all the mentioned representations of it, both conceptual and spatial.
While recognition does give it an (immense) edge, it has earned that recognition because it is a good logo that conveys all those meanings, not just physical movement or development speed, hence getting votes for all sorts of motion related achievements.
