Google celebrated Edvard Munch’s Birthday by launching a new logo on 12^th of December, 2006.
About Edvard Munch
Edvard Munch was born on December 12, 1863. This Norwegian printmaker and painter is famous for his influence on the development of German Expressionism in early 2oth century. His most famous painting The Cry (1893) is consider as an image of anguished in isolation and fear. This was the same painting used by the Google as their logo for celebrating Edvard Munch’s birthday.
