The Dharma logo actually has a very deep meaning. It is based on an ancient Chinese religion/philosophy/mysticism called the I - ching. The eight symbols around the circumference of the octagon are called trigrams. Four of these trigrams are seen on the Korean Flag incidently.

Another successful television logo IMO is Psyche. The logo even appears int product that the characters wear or use and consequently viewers can buy. It's all rather fun and in keeping with the comedy of the show. The biggest challenge for the show is being tucked away on a cable network, but it has held strong for more than three years.

Hey, great post! You should also analyze all of the hatch logos. I believe each hatch logo design uses a different animal, which represents the overall "purpose" of the given hatch.
