Famous Logos Poll Result

Last week, we introduced a LogoBlog Poll at Logo Design Blog to know what our viewers and readers like. The first topic was about the best logo design ever created. We carefully chose only five logos from a collection of literally thousands of impressive, famous, successful and highly recognized logos in the world.

Our selection comprised of the Apple, Nike, McDonald’s, FedEx and Coca-Cola logos, in no specific order or preference.

As for the results, it was a close win for Apple Logo with 27 (40%) votes out of the total 68. The runner up was the Nike logo winning 22 votes, counting up to 32% of total votes. For the rest, we have the Coca Cola logo at third with 8 votes, McDonald’s logo at fourth with 7 votes, and at last position, we have the FedEx logo, receiving just 4 votes.

Congratulations to the Apple logo for winning the LogoBlog Poll.

It’s pretty surprising. I would have thought that Nike’s or Coca-Cola’s logo would get first place since they are on the market and in people minds for decades. Apple has only relatively recently stepped up.

Really, really like your blog. Always come up here whenever I write on my Famous Business Slogans. Always felt that a great logo and a great slogan go hand in hand together. Your blog helps me to have a better understanding on the brands and the history behind them.

I have picked out 7 Famous Business Slogans of the 20th Century from my archive, would you also pick out your top 7 or top 10 logo so that we can learn from your experience? I know you have conducted a public poll recently and Apple emerged as the winner. However, what I like is your input on your favourites.

Thanks Vivienne Quek for your comment. We really appreciate that you liked our survey and our website. We always want to add segments on our website that our online viewers like. Concerning your request, we are criticizing and commenting on the Olympic Logos, some have already been posted, and other logo designs. Be sure to check our website daily to see such posts.
