Search Engines celebrate Earth Day with fabulous logos
I can’t think of a better way to celebrate Earth Day than among the eye-catching logos of Google and Yahoo, with their endearing dress of environmental panoramas. I just acknowledged it earlier this morning, as Google was set as my default homepage.

I think this one is simply a scenic beauty! A logo that is decorously illustrated with a classic green touch. Isn’t it? I am pretty sure; Google has efficiently featured a wondrous logo for calling up environmental issues.
Okay, so what comes next? Yet another Earth Day Logo?! Yeah. This is Yahoo!
Just look at it… Recycling symbols in green are superbly infixed into Yahoo logo that fosters the friendship of “mankind” and “mother earth”.

Just visited you people’s blog. It is really nice. Thanks Yahoo! and Google for the noble cause. I would like to share this poem by John McConnell:
Four billion years ago
Our lonely Earth
Set sail on cosmic seas
Guided by an unseen hand
Of nature, God or chance.
As life evolved
Through endles eco-cycles
Man was born, destined
To destroy or enrich
the Precious Ship.
So love your earth and keep it clean

I have been anxiously awaiting this post
Google really did a good job with this one. The Yahoo! Earth Day logo, in my opinion, sucks.

This is not quite true. I don’t agree. Yahoo earth day logo is a good example of an animated logo. The concept is much clear and the image is nicely rendered.

Interesting that Google such a math based company would come up with such a whimsical artistic logo. Nice!
