Most of these logos still fall short of really helping take peoples minds of the fears that many have of the dentist. I'm a designer for a company that specializes in dental marketing called Practice Cafe. We always try to incorporate other aspects into a logo. Weather that it be symbols taken from the area in which the dental practice is located, or simply taking the initials of the dental practice. One thing we always strive to do is venture away from a tooth, or other cliche symbols of dentistry.

1.) You don't want an image of a pulled tooth, to represent your brand. The last thing you want someone who is scared to visit the dentist to think about is a pulled tooth (even if it is smiling at you).

2.) You want your Dental Practice to stand out, and be unique.
