The gear,sickle, and hammer are classic communist iconography from the 20th Century. The Green party logo is nice too. The Libertarian logo is just plain tacky. The 1971 is quite fitting. Throwing out a few ideas is easy - but finding the one that will move a political party to the white house? That is difficult. The problem with a political logo is that it quickly becomes cliché'- worn out - tired. American party has a very 'viable' design. I agree with you - it is time for a change.
