Biotechnology refers to combining DNA of plants and animals for modification purposes and their use in agriculture, food science and medicine. There has been a great deal of talk – and money – poured into biotechnology with the hope that miracle drugs will appear. Some people believe that the impact of biotechnology will be on the same scale as of computers. But despite growing hype about the field, there seems to be a dearth of good design and creativity in biotechnology logos.
Features of Biotechnology Logos:
Biotechnology logos should graphically be appealing, simple, creative, and give a positive feeling to the audience. Following are the important features of biotechnology logos that address the said qualities:
1. Colors:
The colors used in biotechnology logos must be attractive yet complimenting to the whole image. It ought to be appealing by presenting brilliant color combination between typefaces and image/s.

2. Fonts:
Artistic impressions and imaginative text not only looks nice, but also enclose the essence of style in a logo. That’ why when it comes to fonts, the typefaces used in biotechnology logos must be creative and explicitly logical. The ‘Solstice Neurosciences’ logo is a perfect example of such depiction. Here the company’s name is creatively illustrated by the handling of “O” in an artistic manner and still manages to be amicable with all the letters.

3. Style:
The style in biotechnology logos should be as simple as possible. It should be both appealing and approachable to give it a modern as well as a professional look. Here is a good example of how a biotechnology logo should look like. The “Javelin” logo encompasses the stylish qualities of brilliant color combination, relevancy and flaunt of text and a modern fascia it gives to the logo.

Logos are the symbol of a company. They not only become the trademark of the company’s products, but also symbolize their quality and savoir faire in the market. Thus it is crucially important for the bio-tech companies to create inventive and innovative biotechnology logos as the success of these companies largely depends on strong marketing programs.

To register a trademark logo some necessary steps should properly be performed. If you have already made your company’s logo or the logo for your client, be sure to follow the following steps for registering trademark logo.
1) The first and foremost step that has to be taken to successfully register trademark logo is to do a design search. A design search refers to performing an authenticity research of the logo so that it does not contravene upon an already existing company logo design. This can be done by professional trademark attorneys, which brings us to our next step; hiring a trademark attorney.
2) A trademark attorney is responsible for market research with reference to your company’s trademark logo and can provide you with valuable advice on many aspects of trademark filing and services. The lawyer will also inform you about whether a logo exists that is similar to yours. He or she will then tell you if it is safe for you to proceed with the designed trademark logo as your company’s recognition. Thus, it is important for you to hire a good trademark attorney before you register your trademark logo.
3) Then comes the filing procedure. Again, the services rendered by the trademark attorney will prove to be very useful in this step and sometimes a must. The filing procedure isn’t just one giant step towards a successful trademark logo, but rather a set of steps for registering.
Therefore, this step can be further divided into sub-steps:
a. The first step towards a proper filing of a trademark logo is to mention the correct name and address of the person to whom the related correspondence will be sent. It could the company’s chairperson, CEO, Director, or any other managerial-level personnel.
b. It is also significantly important to provide the proper and relevant description of the goods and services provided along with the trademark logo. Mention the description that will reflect the company’s product mission, expectations, benefits and offerings but in distinctive manner.
c. You have to submit the application, a fee (usually $335) for processing of the file that is a modest amount compared to the benefits gained by registering your company’s trademark logo.
d. Finally, a clear and legible illustration or sample of the trademark logo should be submitted with the application.
Though it may sound futile, it is however, an important step for your trademark process. Registering your logo will not only protect your trademark logo from being copied by others, it will also give the logo numerous benefits including, but not limited to, recognition, security and reliability.

Men have traveled far and wide to witness the works of God, learn new languages, experience new cultures, taste new cuisines, or just for leisure. With the improvements in technology, it has now become more economical and less time consuming for people to travel from one place to another for whatever reason. This advancement has given birth to tourism companies and traveling agencies who now offer almost all the services related to traveling. From hotel reservations to transportation arrangements, these companies have emerged as a single stop for tourists wanting to visit other countries.
Elements of Travel Logos:
Since logos are the symbol of a company’s identity, it is important for travel companies to have their own travel logos. The main idea of travel logos is to portray the tourism activities that the company offers while focusing on the services (ticketing, visa drop box, etc.) that the company provides. Following are the elements that travel logos must have:
Colors:
The colors used in travel logos are associated with the nature of the places they deal with. Most companies have color red, purple, green and/or blue in their logos. These colors though not necessarily related to the destinations; do represent every aspect of a country.
Fonts:
Travel logos have fonts that reflect the ethnicity and cultural perspectives of a particular destination. However, there is no strict rule concerning the typeface of fonts in travel logos. It can simply go with the whole façade of the logo rather than relating to some aspect/s.
Style:
There are many styles that can be employed in travel logos. For instance, a travel logo can have the images and name of the services on its logo; or it can carry the map of the country or its counterpart. Yet the style should be simple to recognize, easy to understand and relevant to the logo.
Although, travel logos have the same three elements (colors, fonts, style) as the rest, there are different approaches and ideas behind its designs.
