The new logo design of Belfast, the capital and largest city of Northern Ireland, is spearheaded by a heart-shaped B logo and accompanied by messages including the word ‘be’ — such as ‘be welcome’, ‘be part of it’, and ‘be vibrant’. This logo has been specifically designed to promote the city to international market and attract more visitors and potential clients as an exciting, lively and welcoming place. Let’s go, Belfast!

An excellent post on innovate logo and branding design. What’s most amazing is that designing and branding for a city, or a nation, is very different than designing for a large corporation, and these guys seem to of gotten the idea right.
