Daniel J. Boorstin, American social historian and educator, once said “Nothing is really real unless it happens on television”. Today, I watched the A&E television’s branding ceremony live on A&E television itself; therefore it was “really really” real and simply superb.

A&E Network has got underway with a broad multi-platform positioning of the television’s brand. A&E’s new logo design offers a brand-new look and sophisticated feel, both on-air and online. As announced by Bob DeBitetto, the network’s Executive Vice President, the centerpiece of the new brand will be its tagline: “Real Life. Drama.”
A&E has experienced a theatrical and flourishing makeover to a premium entertainment network. A&E basically stands for “Arts and Entertainment” (its old tagline) and as a leading satellite television network of the United States, it has shown some of the finest documentaries and reality shows to the audience.
