I know the game has changed and is far more comercial now, but one of the things that make football a great game is tradition. The reduction of stars looks better to me and I always though the "L" in the previous logo looked kind of goofy. Finally, the football looks more realistic and I like that they tied it in with the Lombardi Trophy. P.S. I'll bet most fans won't even notice. What ever happened to leaving well enough alone? The font detracts from the heritage and history of the game. This looks like a "modernized" or "robotized" version of a timeless logo. In an era where teams are going back to their roots regarding uniforms and colors, why must the NFL try and make things easier? Sometimes easier (for printing and embossing) is not better.
