Dental Logos- A Personal Story (Study)

Dental FearWhen I was a young boy, my father took me to the clinic to restore my primary teeth. LOL. That was not the black parade, but my first dental abrade. :) To be very honest, I was too terrified to observe their logo but now I feel calm and ready to write this article on the basic elements of Dental Logos. ;)

First of all, the logo design company should be knowledgeable, careful and selective about the field of dentistry, its instrumentation, and nitty-gritty. The characteristic feature of a dental logo which determines its uniqueness are White Teeth, obviously. You may frequently notice dental logos making reference to tooth decay, tooth sensitivity, various gum diseases and the four types of teeth. However, the main focus of dental logos is to pull in more people towards your dental clinic with the help of inspired design elements, creative style and innovative concepts.

    Design Elements of Dental Logos:

    1) Colors

The colors used in dental logos are mainly white and red. Their simplicity and dullness give an elegant and subtle look to these logos. Other colors such as pink, blank and green are also sparsely used to adjust their slenderness and colorfulness.

    2) Fonts

Dental logos normally use simpler fonts such as Times New Roman, Arial, Garamond and Corsiva. Simple typefaces further provide these logos with a better and professional look.

    3) Style

The style in dental logos is usually illustrative and comic. Generally, detailed symbols such as Toothbrush, Toothpaste, Dental plates and Dentures depict the mission of the dental company and concerns of the customers, both at the same time. For the same reason, good dental logos are successfully able to distract kids from dental fear. And of course, it is natural… So I was not at all embarrassed at my time. :)

Al Gore’s New Logo loves You and Your Environment…

Republicans don’t seem to understand, most of what’s green is good for the economy as well as the environment :d But Democrats?! They practically did it…

    Al Gore Logo

Al Gore is the forty-fifth Vice President and noted Democratic icon of the United States of America who served under Bill Clinton from 1993 to 2001. Recently, he has made a donation of $750,000 to the Alliance for Climate Protection, a non-profit advocacy group which he founded to fight global warming. Brian Collins, famous NY based designer and creative director has created the identity and overall design for its promotional campaign.

This logo is the centre-piece of the alliance, and has been regarded as some what of a risk, since it is neither the name, nor initials of the organization, but a graphic punning on the words ‘we’ and ‘me’. The circle not only frames the words, but it also signifies that the climate crisis is unfortunately striking one and all on the mother earth.

LogoBlog Poll 20 – Best Internet Browser Logo

    Internet Browser Logos

And the rivalry has pushed us on to new heights… Yeah. Firefox has undeniably shown a really impressive performance and it has been voted as the best web browser that features pop-up blockers, tabbed browsing, and increased security.

This time LogoBlog Poll 20 was about the best internet browser logo design and we already knew who is going to win… anyway…sigh…

Mozilla Firefox- The Best in all (46 votes)

Apart from the darn good internet browser that it is, Firefox’s branding and logo design have been one of the hottest buzzwords in the cyberspace. How cool is that fox in the logo that took the world of internet by fire spell!

Got 46 votes, OMG! Firefox does it all! Again and again…

Internet Explorer and Safari- Battle of the Brands (17 votes)

Despite both sides making acidic remarks against each other, they finish the game with an equal number of votes; 17.

Netscape: Is it dead? (1 vote)

Once used by 80 percent of the Internet users, Netscape has failed to get more than one vote in the Firefox-dominated era.

    Opera: Web 2.0 Logos rock… (4 votes)

Opera web 2.0 logo is creative and beautifully depicts the “O”. Overall, I like it but I think it could have been much better.

Have fun everyone! See you all in the LogoBlog Poll 21!
