What makes a logo design great and famous? Some will say its design while some will reason its conception. But in this case, its neither design nor conception but Michael Jordan. There are very few people who do not recognize Michael Jordan and the Jordan logo.
Jordan Logo (also called Jumpman Logo) is one of the most popular and appealing sports logo used by Nike to brand its merchandise. As the name implies, Michael Jeffrey Jordan, ace American Basketball player, is the brand ambassador for the peerless, innovative and beauteous logos of famous Jordan apparel and Nike Air Jordan brand of basketball shoes.
Jordan logo has gone through many changes over the years. The inimitability in all its variants adds a matchless style to Jordan clothing line, while giving a new look to the end product.
In the beginning, winged basketballs were engaged as a Jordan Logo. The Air Jordan III for the first time in 1988 replaced the winged basketballs with a Jumpman logo. This version was however the most famous and successful Jordan logo ever.
Jordan logo, standardized to its high quality products, is widely known for its creativity and innovation. Its matchlessness combined with dynamic origination has always been the mainspring for the huge success of Nike Air Jordan brand.
The Jumpman logo adds a creative edge to Jordan apparel and fosters its appearance. Previously, the Jordan logo was only featured on the Air Jordan brand of basketball shoes. Now it can be found on different Nike accessories such as belts, jerseys etc.
The magic in the Apple store is endlessly bringing hardware, software and services, all at once. The most inventive company in computers as they are, Mac always creates the most charismatic branding of the world and makes it easy for the consumer to choose. Yep. The brightest example is Apple Logo, which may make a person behave more creatively, according to modern research observations by scholars from Duke University’s Fuqua School of Business and the University of Waterloo, Canada.
This brand-behavior analysis is likely to be published in the Journal of Consumer Research. Dr. Gavan Fitzsimons (from Columbia University) and Dr. Chartrand (from Duke University) assert that even the most abbreviated exposure to widely known brands can cause an individual to behave in ways that reflect those brands’ traits.
In order to evaluate the effects of brands on behavior, the researchers selected Apple and IBM; two well-known and competing brand logos. They found that the Apple logo is a symbol of creativity, innovation and nonconformism. The IBM logo, on the other hand, depicts tradition, modishness and obligation.
Another word for creativity is the Apple Logo, the study asserts. So have the power to create with what really has your attention, the sleek Mac OS X Leopard…

I can’t think of a better way to celebrate Earth Day than among the eye-catching logos of Google and Yahoo, with their endearing dress of environmental panoramas. I just acknowledged it earlier this morning, as Google was set as my default homepage.
I think this one is simply a scenic beauty! A logo that is decorously illustrated with a classic green touch. Isn’t it? I am pretty sure; Google has efficiently featured a wondrous logo for calling up environmental issues.
Okay, so what comes next? Yet another Earth Day Logo?! Yeah. This is Yahoo!
Just look at it… Recycling symbols in green are superbly infixed into Yahoo logo that fosters the friendship of “mankind” and “mother earth”.
Great logos, once designed, always fly beyond your imagination. One such example is Flogo, a fly-high-in-the-sky logo. Yup. Snowmasters is a famous firm that produces fake snow powder and is reported to launch a cool new product. Imagine a fanciful material that is blowing, and flowing, and appears just like a real cloud! Excited? Yeah, the fantastic Flogo is specially made for branding such fantastic product. More interestingly, Snowmasters are molding it into placeable logos…
The term “Flogo” is itself a word form of “flying” and “logo”. Actually, Flogo is manufactured from Helium and Oxygen gas and measures from 24 to 48 inches. Flogos have a wonderful capability to fly as high as 20,000 feet. However, their normal flight ranges from 300 to 500 miles and Flogos are made strong enough to bounce off the walls.
To be sure, Snowmasters have introduced a remarkably sleek and innovative product supported with a breathtaking logo. I think this is absolutely amazing!… BRAVO!
