As a logo designer and brand loyalist, I have always been fascinated by how famous logos have the ability to infuse themselves in our minds. We see thousands of company logos and brands on TV, billboards, custom printed mugs, and on product packaging but manage to remember only a few (although we think we recognise them all very well) Ever wondered why is this so? It’s because some famous brands leave a strong and memorable impact making them unforgettable.
Creating memorability is one feature that you must always focus on when you design a logo design. But one wonders what actually makes a brand and its logo unforgettable? It relies on the strength of the relationship that the brand has with you.
Today, I have devised an interesting logo game for my readers to check their brand knowledge. It shows one letter from 20 famous logos…..all you need to do is to guess which logo it actually belongs to. Simply, guess the right brand, type it in the given box and in the end reveal the answers to check your tally.

GREAT game, I quit after a while, but it’s interesting to see how effective some of those brands have been at, well, branding themselves.

Shell doesn’t have “shell” word in the logo anymore. Moreover ‘e’ presented here is from logo of 1971 year!

Pretty cool. I got 15 right… tough it would not take “Toys ‘R’ Us” in that format. had to enter “toys r us” . I went…”duh!” when I saw the ones I missed… except h&m. Still don’t recognize that one.
