| Building a strong brand does not conclude with a strong logo design. It entails a cumbersome branding process that aids the brand in its image building process. It takes years, or decades, to erect a famous brand name with sizable brand equity. But if caught up in a logo design controversy, they can get devastated in minutes.
But even if corporate logos evade controversies, famous logos are still likely to remain in the limelight for criticism and mock by the general public. Everybody loves a little humor and when it comes to ridiculing famous brand logos, there are some really creative people out there who can do just that. Apple logo isn’t the only famous brand to be under satirical attack. There was a collection of hilarious Google logos I posted few months back exhibiting how creatively people play with famous logos. In addition that, who can forget the BP logo fiasco? Courtesy Greenpeace UK, we saw thousands of redesigns of BP logo. |

I’ve heard so many people complain about Starbucks’ coffee and how it doesn’t taste as good as other coffee. I personally can only drink Starbucks’ Americano coffee. Plus the ambiance in a Starbucks is part of the whole reason why I go there and why I’m a loyal customer. Say what you will, but Starbucks definitely knows how to market and brand themselves!
